All personal data, either sent by user/visitor of the site or stored in the site through navigation in it, are subject to the legal framework that govern personal data protection and are used solely for the purpose that they were sent.

Through the current site, ROIKOS Engineering Consultants S.A. may collect personal data of users/visitors, including data that may be used to determine the identity and contact details of the users/visitors. ROIKOS Engineering Consultants S.A. may process part or the entire set of users’/ visitors’ personal data for statistical reasons or with the view to improving its site’s contents and services. The user/visitor may at any time contact the Administrator of the site in order to determine whereas there is a personal data record of his/her filed and request its correction or deletion.

Through the current site, widely available technology for tracing users/visitors (non-personal data) such as cookies, IP address monitoring and/or other relevant technical tools resulting from the interface of the web browser with the server, may be used. Cookies are small pieces of data stored in a user’s web browser, without access to files stored in the hard disc of the user’s PC. Data related to e-consultation

The site of ROIKOS Engineering Consultants S.A. may provide to its user/visitor access to public consultation “platforms”, in the context of promoting participatory processes in relation to a variety of themes. These “platforms” are most commonly comprised of a set of questions, to which responses are recorded, analysed and taken on board in order to extract conclusions on the theme put in public consultation each time. ROIKOS Engineering Consultants S.A. has the exclusive right to collect and use these data, as well as to define the specific rules for conduct of each public consultation procedure. The user/visitor agrees to transfer any intellectual rights in connection with his/her participation in the public consultation to ROIKOS Engineering Consultants S.A., which, based on its own judgement, may proceed in publishing the results and conclusions of the participatory public consultation procedures.

Interactive services

In the context of interactive web services, ROIKOS Engineering Consultants S.A. may provide access to message boards / discussion fora, thus giving the opportunity to the site’s users/visitors to enter written comments in order to exchange opinions and discuss contemporary issues. The user/visitor must adhere to universal rules and standards of decency, professional ethics and good behavour in codes of conduct, and must not use insulting expressions, swearwords nor expose third parties’ personal views and data, neither promote in any way illegal actions. Furthermore, this site may contain communication forms and brochures, tables of announcements and interactive areas, the use of which entails that the user/visitor bears the sole responsibility for any communication carried through and/or the consequences resulting from the publication of the above.
