{"id":2556,"date":"2013-08-08T08:18:22","date_gmt":"2013-08-08T08:18:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.roikos.gr\/en\/?p=2556"},"modified":"2013-10-30T16:52:16","modified_gmt":"2013-10-30T13:52:16","slug":"symvasi-dimos-markopoulo-mesogaias","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.roikos.gr\/en\/symvasi-dimos-markopoulo-mesogaias\/","title":{"rendered":"Signing a new contract with the municipality Markopoulo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Our companies ROIKOS SA and INTEGER SA following the competition launched by the Municipality of Markopoulo in Mesogeia area, were jointly awarded the contract: <strong>&#8220;Study for the extension of the Wastewater Treatment Plant in the Municipality of Markopoulo for a population equivalent of 80.000.&#8221;<\/strong> The contract was signed on 08.08.2013, the project budget is 431.034,00 \u20ac plus VAT, and its completion deadline is 12 months.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The contract is co-funded by the Regional Operational Programme &#8220;Attica Region 2007-2013&#8221; and is the 1<sup>st<\/sup> sub-task of the Action &#8220;Wastewater and Sewage Treatment Plant upgrading in the Municipality of Markopoulo\u201d with a total budget of 7.057.186,64 \u20ac.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project aim is to prepare the design and study for the expansion works of the existing Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) located in Markopoulo area, in order to increase its capacity to serve a population equivalent of 80.000 (the existing one was designed for a p.e. of 40.000), as well as serve a wider area including the settlements of Markopoulo, Porto Rafti in the Municipality of Markopoulo and Kalivia, Kouvaras in the Municipality of Saronicos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The project will be conducted in two stages: Preliminary Study and Final Study including preparation of the tender documents in order to open the call for bids (best price offer).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It should be noted that, that the bidding of infrastructural works study in Porto Rafti for sewage and connection to Markopoulo\u2019s WWTP, will lead to completion of the Wastewater Management Plan in a significant area of the East Attica region (Mesogeia), following the recent disengagement and commissioning of the study for the construction of pipelines, wastewater disposal infrastructure and the WWTP in the Athens airport area, which will serve the Municipalities of Koropi and Peania.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It should also be stressed that our companies, in the context of the contract agreement with the Municipality of Markopoulo \u201cSupplement studies and consulting services for hydraulic infrastructure works in the Municipality of Markopoulo\u201d, is successfully cooperating since 2003 with the Municipality in the provision of consulting services for bringing forward and implementing wastewater management projects in the Municipality.
