Signing a new contract with the Municipal Water and Sewage Company of Rhodes
Our companies ROIKOS SA (leader) and INTEGER SA in collaboration with the company EPTA SA, following the competition launched by the Municipal Water and Sewage Company of Rhodes (DEYAR), were awarded the contract: “Preliminary Study for increasing the capacity of the Wastewater Treatment Plant of Rhodes”. The contract was signed on 08.02.2013, the project budget is 443.541,62 € plus VAT and its completion deadline is 8 months.
The project is co-funded by the Operational Programme “Environment and Sustainable Development (EPPERAA) 2007-2013” and is a sub-task of the Action “Increasing the capacity of the WWTP of Rhodes, Wastewater pipeline of settlements Archangelos – Afandou and pipelines of Kolymbia settlement.”
The project aim is to prepare the Preliminary Study (including hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, chemical and civil engineering studies) and the tender documents for the infrastructural works necessary in order to increase the capacity of the existing WWTP of Rhodes, situated in the location Vodi, to serve a population equivalent of 100.000 due to the planned connection with it of the settlements Afandou and Archangelos, as well as to improve and modernize the existing facility. The contract also includes the environmental assessment and issuing of specific Approved Environmental Standards (AEPO) for the proposed and existing facilities, and the execution of the surveying and geotechnical works which are necessary in the context of the Preliminary Study.
