New contract with the Municipal Water & Sewage Enterprise of Volos
Our company ROIKOS SA (leader), in a consortium with the companies NAMA SA and EMVIS SA , following an open tender launched by the Municipal Water & Sewerage Enterprise of the wider City of Volos (DEYAMV), has been commissioned with the project: “Detailed Design Study of the sewerage system in the coastal area of Volos and extension of the Waste Water Treatment Plant operated by DEYAMV”.
The contract was signed on 16/4/2015, with a fee of 660.456,00€ (excl. VAT), and duration of ten (10) months.
The aim of the contract is the construction of the sewerage network for several housing settlements along the coastal front at the wider region of the City of Volos, as well as the extension and rehabilitation of the existing Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) operated by DEYAMV, in order to increase its capacity for covering the additional flow (additional capacity of 45.000 P.E.), improve and optimize its operation.
The contract includes the necessary environmental studies (ΕΙΑ), surveying and geotechnical studies and investigation, the detail design (process, hydraulic, MEP and stuctural), the Tender Documents and the Health & Safety Plan of works (sewerage network, pump stations, WWTP).
It should be noted that our company has conducted, between 2001-2002, the Master Plan and Feasibility Study for the urban wastewater management in the Prefecture of Magnisia (i.e. the intermediate regional authority administrative tier in Greece corresponding to a County/ Province), which provided the framework for the overall design of the infrastructural works including those commissioned with the current contract.
