Signing a new contract in Cyprus with SBLA
Our company ROIKOS SA in joint venture with Ζ&Α P. Antonaropoulos and Associates SA signed on 07.08.2020 a contract with the Sewerage Board of Limassol Amathus (SBLA) in Cyprus for the project “Provision of Consultancy Services for (a) Additional Studies, (b) Preparation of bidding documents for tenders, (c) Evaluation of offers and (d) Supervision of flood construction works in the area of Limassol City Centre”.
The project involves the design maturation, tendering and, subsequently, the supervision of an important project for the area of Limassol and the SBLA, which will promote full compliance with European Directives 2000/60/EC (Framework for Community action in the field of water policy) and 2007/60/EC (Assessment and Management of flood risks) and the relevant Laws of the Republic of Cyprus [N. 70(I)/2010 and Amending Law of 2012] to reduce the risk of flooding in sensitive urban areas. The aim of this contract is the study for the expansion and completion of flood protection works and construction of drainage channels in the city Centre of Limassol to enhance protection from surface stormwater runoff and associated damages caused.
This is yet another contract resulting from the systematic development efforts and the quality presence of our company in Cyprus.
