Signing a new contract with the Municipal Water & Sewerage Enterprise of Chalkida

Our company ROIKOS S.A. (Leader), in consortium with company EPTA S.A., following a tender procured by the Municipal Water & Sewerage Enterprise of Chalkida “ARETHOUSA”, has been commissioned with the execution of the contract titled TECHNICAL CONSULTANT (CPV 71318000-0) of the action “Collection, conveyance, treatment and disposal works of the wastewater from the coastal settlements of Avlidas, Vatheos and Drosia, Municipality of Chalkida”. The contract was signed on 9.08.2018.

The scope of the Technical Consultant includes the provision of services for the support and assistance of the Municipal Water & Sewerage Enterprise of Chalkida in the implementation of works for the urban wastewater conveyance, treatment and disposal in the coastal settlements of Avlidas, Pharos, Vatheos and Drosia of the Municipality of Chalkida projects, which are funded by the NSRF 2014 -2020. The implementation of these works will be carried out through the following independent contractors’ projects, for which monitoring services will be provided by the Technical Consultant:

SUB-PROJECT 1: “CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERAGE WORKS (INTERNAL NETWORK, PUMPING STATIONS AND CONVEYANCE PIPES) OF DROSIA – BATHEOS – BEACH AND PHAROS”: It includes the construction of approximately 8.728m of internal networks in the settlements in question, the installation of the MEP equipment and the mechanical equipment for the two pumping stations and the six manholes for level elevation in Drosia, as well as the procurement of 3.500m of pipelines for the construction of networks with Municipal Water & Sewerage Enterprise of Chalkida’s own resources.

SUB-PROJECT 2: “WWTP AND WORKS FOR DISPOSAL OF TREATED WASTEWATER”: It includes the Waste Water Treatment Plant for 16.000 P.E., the gravity conveyance duct from the WWTP to the treated wastewater buffer tank, the treated wastewater buffer tank with the pumping station for supply of the conveyance duct, as well as the conveyance duct (land and subsea sections). It also includes the electromechanical & electronic equipment of seven pumping stations and their odor systems.

SUB-PROJECT 5: “URBAN WASTEWATER PUMPING STATIONS AND CONVEYANCE DUCTS TO THE WWTP”: It includes the construction of about 2,000m of pipelines to the pumping stations in the four settlements and about 36km of depressurized pipelines to the WWTP, together with the proposed manholes for control, inspection, cleaning, evacuation and air extraction.
